‘Jodhaa Akbar’, the super hit movie directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, will soon talk in Tamil. The dubbed version of the movie will be re-released by UTV, the producers, on March 6 all over the state.

The historical love story that has Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead is running with packed houses all over the world. The movie is said to have collected around 40 crore rupees worldwide.

Sujatha, the famous Tamil writer passed away yesterday night. The distinctive writer, who has penned dialogues for many distinguished films, has been admitted in Apollo Hospital a couple of days ago. He was in coma before leaving his last breath.

S. Rangarajan (Sujatha’s real name) was 73 years old when he passed away. The prolific writer has written over 100 novels, 200 short stories, stage plays and number of essays. He has also been writing regular columns and Q&A series on science in popular magazines. He also served for a short time as the editor of Kumudham magazine. In addition, he has contributed to educational CD-ROMs.

Aishwarya Bachchan, the former Miss World, has now officially declared her role in Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie Robot through a press release. The actress has signed in the formal agreement and received a whopping amount (Rs.2 cr) as advance, which would be the highest ever paid to an Indian actress to do a film in any language! The total salary is almost Rs.6 crores!!

According to Ayngaran, now Aishwarya has allotted bulk dates in May and June for Robot and the remaining dates will be allotted in the next 18 months as available from her call sheet diary.
