Shriya Saran (born September 11, 1982) is an Indian film actress. She began her career acting in music videos, while also attending an acting studio to follow her dream to act. After her debut in 2001 with Ishtam, she gained Telugu cinema’s attention in 2002 by playing the role of Bhanu in Santhosham, her first major hit. Following the film she appeared in several Telugu films with prominent actors, whilst, also making in-roads in Bollywood as well as the Tamil film industry.

Manirathnam’s Ravana has been facing challenges of it own for some time now. The movie’s shooting is happening at Trivandrum and an unfortunate event took place today. Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were not able to return to their hotel post shooting after an elephant went out of control. The elephant that was brought for the shooting created havoc all of a sudden and trampled the mahot.

King of Pop Michael Jackson’s autopsy report has been delayed until next week, after an initial two-week hold-up.

The toxicology reports, carried out on the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker’s body during a post-mortem on June 26, were expected to be released until July 31.

However, the Los Angeles County coroner`s office has confirmed the results are still not ready, reports the Daily Express.

A source said, “Sajid Nadiadwala was shooting for Kambakkht Ishq when he happened to come across the set of Fast and Furious in Hollywood’s Universal Studios, and one of the film’s famous cars was on the set so Sajid quickly got his unit to shoot Akshay’s action scene there.”

It is Saran’s best film technically with superior production values and richness in every frame, thanks to Karun’s eye catching camera work. But sadly the story and script has gaping holes and sags big time. Added to that, Vinay Rai is a total let down and just does not have screen presence, and the move to make him dub in his own voice has backfired.

The first half of the film moves at snail pace, while in the second half there is some urgency shown to increase the pace before falling flat in a stage managed climax that leaves you cold. Actually the basic story idea is interesting but it is the slow pace of narration and wooden lead actors that makes the film drag aimlessly.
