Pyramid Saimira has filed a petition in the High Court of Madras seeking a stay on the release of Kamal Haasan’s Unnaipol Oruvan. According to the petitioner, Kamal’s Raaj Kamal International entered into an agreement with them to produce the historical film Marmayogi. On the assurance of the actor that he would rope in Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Priyanka Chopra to star in the film, Pyramid Saimira handed over Rs. 10.90 crores to the actor.
