According to sources popular actor and filmmaker Sudeep is planning to remake 1981 hit "Antha". This flick had rebel star Ambareesh in the lead.
Meanwhile, sources claim that this will not be an exact remake. However the movie which has been titled "Kanwarlal" will be based on the original with few twists.
Speaking about the same he said that this is for the first time that a movie is being recreated. If this works then soon, a flurry of remakes would commence in Kannada.
