Oscar winner Matt Damon is set to be honoured for his film career at an award ceremony next year.
The actor, whose career took off following the success of ’Good Will Hunting’ in 1997, will be bestowed the American Cinematheque award, reports contactmusic.com.
The ceremony is scheduled for March 2010.
Some of the past recipients of the award are actor Samuel L. Jackson in 2008 and Julia Roberts in 2007.
