Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has condemned the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan, calling it "horrid". He has also urged people around the world to live in "strength and defiance"."While we worked, we heard the news of the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore as they were going to the stadium to play their match against Pakistan. Horrid!" Amitabh has posted on his blog.

The megastar is highly disturbed with Tuesday`s attack and said people across the world were now living in "suspicion and doubt". "We all live in an uncertain and strange world. We all live in suspicion and doubt. We live without trust and belief. We also live in strength and defiance… In resolve and in peace and we all desire that the rest of the world believes in that too?." Terrorists armed with automatic weapons Tuesday opened fire at the convoy of the Sri Lankan cricket team as it headed for Lahore`s Gaddafi stadium. The attack killed eight Pakistanis including six security personnel, and injured six cricketers.
