Katrina Kaif is ready to take her bathroom singing skills to a prestigious level – AR Rahman’s studio. The sizzling lass who has often laughed at her ability to sing, is all set to turn into a professional singer for the Mozart of Madras who has roped in the beauty to mouth nursery rhymes and inspirational songs for his album due next year.
Though initially, the actress was only set to star in the music video her current high at the Box Office prompted the music maker to ask her to sing. As per a source, the actress was earlier suggested to sing Rahman’s compositions in English but now she will be seen singing in Hindi. Now that will be nice to hear, considering she still struggles to mouth her Hindi dialogues sans a British accent.
Confirming the news, Katrina said, "Why not? I`m always game for new challenges. Singing in itself was a challenge because I`ve never sung professionally. Singing in English would`ve been a convenient challenge. But I`d rather take the uncomfortable route. So why not me singing in Hindi?""Somewhere down the line, I got tired of people commenting on my Hindi. I guess I’ve been working hard on it", she added.
