After waiting for hours together to catch a glimpse of their favorite hero fans went berserk at Hindupur in Ananthapur district on Thursday afternoon. Balakrishna was taking rest at the local the R&B guest house, waiting for 3.45 pm to come out to meet his fans as it was the time suggested by his astrologers as ‘auspicious’. But his fans who turned out in huge numbers outside the guest house in the morning hours could not wait more.
They shouted asking the hero to come out and went out of control following which the police had to resort to lathi-charge. But the Rayalaseema people, for whom the police were never an issue, started pelting stones and footwear at the cops. However, Balaiah had to, for the first time, violate his own rules. He came out and waved at the crowd following which the angry fans were pacified.
