Irumbuk Chimbu Devans IKMS Would Suit The Tastes Of Indian Audiences

It’s Chimbu Devan, the director of ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’ who revived the genre of full-length periodical movies. The soon-to-release film is full of fun and frolic. It’s after a thirty eight long years that we are going to have a cowboy film in Tamil. We can’t imagine what anticipation fans will have to experience a different world.

Just like how the director’s earlier projects were generous in comedy, his ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’ is a comedy too. When we asked the director why he chose Larencce to play the lead, he came up with an interesting answer, “I chose Larencce to play the lead because of two reasons. First is style, a cowboy has a lot of style, and Larencce who is a good dancer, is very stylish. The other reason why I chose him was because I was looking for someone whom the audience would be able to accept as one among them.”

As the story of this adventure comedy is set in 1850s. The team had to shoot most of the film by erecting sets in areas that would suit the tastes of Indian audiences and, at the same time, meet the requirements of cowboy locality. And hopefully we will get something different soon people!
