Nagarjuna ’s King is running successfully all over the state. The movie’s music too is doing fine business. The film’s platinum disc celebrations were held on Thursday (Jan 08, 2009) at Prasad Labs. Hero Nagarjuna, Srihari, Brahmanandam, music director Devi Sri Prasad, director Sreenu Vytla, writers Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan and BVS Ravi, producer Shiva Prasad Reddy and others attended the function. Nagarjuna praised the director Sreenu Vytla and Srihari to the hilt.
“I could not talk about the film before the release as I was busy wrapping it up and later I went for Holiday. When I returned from my foreign trip, I was informed that the movie was trimmed but I told them not to delete the scenes. I told Sreenu Vytla that audiences are enjoying the movie and none is bothering about its length. So the trimming was not necessary," he said.
He also added: "I am extremely happy with Sreenu Vytla’s work. I always like movies that have high entertainment quotient. King is pucca time pass entertainer and it proved now that audiences are enjoying the comedy. Credit must be given to Srihari and Brahamanandam. Especially Srihari’s comic timing and his dialogue delivery in Telangana dialect is superb and hilarious. Srihari’s performance is liked by everyone.Devi Sri Prasad has always given hit music to my films right from Manmadhudu. I liked his Bammardi song in this movie in particular."
