Hrithik Roshan had a blast celebrating his 35th birthday. But his neighbours at Palazzo Apartments in Juhu Scheme did not. Fed up of the rising decibel levels coming from Hrithik’s house, the residents of the area complained about the party to the Juhu Police. Four cops then arrived at the scene at around 2 am and demanded that the Roshans tone down the music. A police officer, requesting anonymity, told Mumbai Mirror, “We got a call from one of Hrithik’s neighbours saying that the music coming from the party was too loud for comfort and that it was disturbing them.”

The noise did stop after the cops left, but for only about half an hour. After that the music started again, and went on till after 4 am. Of late, the Roshans have had quite a few reasons to celebrate. Last December Hrithik celebrated his wedding anniversary and in October it was wife Suzanne’s birthday. But this seemed to be the first time that he got carried away with the celebrations. His parties usually end at 2 am, are not boisterous, and the music is rarely loud. When we asked Rakesh Roshan about the incident, he maintained that he was unaware about what had taken place. He said, “I was not in the party and hence I have no clue about this.”
