Kollywood stars Rajinikanth, Suriya and Radha Ravi were present among others at the Gacchibowli Stadium in Hyderabad to help raise funds for the state which was hit by floods recently.
The event took place on November 7th. Speaking at the star night, Rajini said that he made it to the event on the invitation of his guru Dasari Narayana Rao garu and ensured that he would be present at all times to help the people of Andhra. Suriya said that he was fortunate to participate in a show conducted for noble cause.
The details of the donations that poured in from Tamil Nadu are: The Tamil Nadu Film Chamber of Commerce (Rs. 10 lakhs), Suriya (Rs. 5 lakhs), Vishal (Rs. 2.5 lakhs), Vijay (Rs. 2 lakhs), and Jayam Ravi (Rs. 1 lakh).
