There are so many new releases this month that movies are vying for theatre space. The Producer’s Council met to come up with a solution. February seems a month to really look forward to.A mere look at the list reveals a host of movies promising to overwhelm the moviegoer.
There’s Bala’s Naan Kadavul with Arya and Pooja on 6th Feb followed by Sundar C’s Perumal and Thee, Aanandha Thandavum, Laadam, Newtonian Moondram Vidhi with S.J Suryah, Guru En Aalu, Siva Manasula Sakthi, Adhe Neram Adhe Idam with Jai and Vijayalakshmi, Mysskin’s Nandhalala, Karthigai, Engal aasan and Balam. You’ll agree that this is quite a line-up. Now how are theatres going to accommodate this many releases? The council has decided that they will take it movie by movie: that is, they will first release two movies a week, and then depending on theatre availability, decided which the next two will be.
