Mani Ratnam’s Ravan Cameraman Decided Move Out0 comments

Manikandan, who had been signed up to handle the camera in Mani Ratnam’s project Ravan, has moved out of it. According to the latest reports, Manikandan was signed up by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment for two of his ventures. With one of the two films expected to go on floors in June, the cameraman decided to move on.

We hear from our sources that as per the contract Manikandan was required to work till March for Ravan. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, the project was delayed and the cameraman opted out of it. Manikandan said that he still maintains a good rapport with the director of Ravan. With 50 per cent of the film shot already, Santhosh Sivan has been roped in to complete the rest of the film. Ravan stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram in the lead.
