
Ever since he died almost two months ago, there has been wide speculation as to the cause of his death. The King of Pop died of cardiac arrest in his rented Holmsby Hills house but what caused the attack? Was it due to stress from the preparations undertaken for his upcoming London concert series? A picture of a bloody shirt was recently leaked online hanging in his closet. Is this related to his death? All along, drugs was suspected to be the cause.
There were reports and rumors about his drug use and addiction. First it was Demerol that was reported. Then, came Propofol. Apparently, Michael Jacksonwas addicted to Propofol, a powerful anesthetic used only in hospitals for surgeries. And allegedly, vials of the drug have been found in his house during police investigations after his death. Is it really the cause?Official autopsy reports have not been made public. Two autopsies have already been conducted but rumors have it that Katherine Jackson is still asking for a third.
But now, TMZ reports that Michael Jackson’s toxicology report reveals it is Propofol. The toxicology report details have been obtained from "multiple law enforcement sources" and shows that a lethal amount of Propofol was in the King of Pop’s sytem. Not only that, according to the TMZ report, "there was also alprazolam — also known as Xanax — in Jackson’s system." However, it is the amount of Propofol that may have caused the King of Pop’s death.
