Andhra Andagadu Sobhan Babu passed away suddenly in Chennai recently. Sobhan Babu was one of the rare actors to quit films while in his prime. He set a target for himself and he quit according to his plan. He never even once contemplated making a comeback. Such was his planning and his determination. The only reason was he never wanted to show himself as old man to industry.
His discipline and honesty are also legendary. He is also that rare actor who never encouraged his fans. He asked his fans not to waste time by running after actors but to concentrate on their life and work and take good care of their family members.
Now his family members and his fans are planning to set up a museum in his memory. Sobhan Babu has hundreds of spectacles in his collection and also many costumes of varied ranges. All these will be placed in a museum in Chennai. Plans are being made no and we have to see when and how that materializes.
