Chandramukhi directed by P Vasu starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika went on to become super duper hit by breaking all possible records in the film industry. The film was inspired by Manichithirathaz in Malayalam and Aapdamithra in Kannada which also won rave reviews from everyone.
When a film is successful, it is only natural that its sequels are being thought about. Going by this axiom, director P Vasu has plans to make a sequel of his blockbuster Aapdamithra in Kannada. While talking to the media, this director said that the script is ready and the crew will go on floors from February. The original hero Vishnuvardhan will continue to be featured in the sequel 2. To a poser on whether there would be a Chandramukhi 2, Vasu said that he would first complete the Kannada film and then think about Tamil and Telugu.
