Speaking at the State Film Awards ceremony in Chennai Tuesday, he said, "Today is a historic day. Because we have presented an award to Kalaignar. We would tell this with all proud even to our grandchildren."
Expressing regret that he had not acted in a script penned by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi so far, Kamal said: "But I had mouthed Kalaignar’s dialogues in front of Sivaji many a time."
