Namitha Launch The Jaganmohini Telugu Version

Almost all the Telugu audiences of the present generation do know about Vithalacharya’s marvel ‘Jaganmohini’. Almost all the Telugu audiences in their 30s and 40s might have enjoyed the film during their childhood. The same is being remade after so many years, which is really a fortunate thing which is going to happen in the film industry. It is really a challenge for the makers as the latest film should not spoil the name of the celluloid marvel brought out just with the help of the director’s vision and trick photography.

Raja is replacing the character played by Narasimha Raju and Meera Chopra is playing the heroine, while the Namita is playing the title role of ‘Jaganmohini’. The film is being produced by Murali on the banner of Murali Cine Arts while NK Viswanathan is directing the movie which is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages. The Tamil version had completed one schedule at Madurai and the unit reached Hyderabad for the launch of the Telugu version. Dasari Narayana Rao gave the clap on the hero and the heroine, while D Ramanaidu switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. In the earlier film, the hero and the heroine hail from a middle class family, but in the revised version, they are playing the king and queen.

Producer Murali says, ‘After a 15-day shoot in Hyderabad, our unit would leave for Vizag, Talakona, Chittur and Andaman and other such place for the regular shooting. We are planning to complete the film soon and release the film in December. The hero of the previous film Narasimha Raju is also playing a role in the film as the father of the hero. All the three lead artistes — Raja, Meera Chopra and Namita — participated in the programme.
