Tollywood’s Next ”Megastar” Mahesh Babu
Is a known fact that after the legendary NTR, it has only been Megastar Chiranjeevi who has been able to appeal to the masses in such a large manner. The reason for this is said to be the stand of Chiru on treating everyone on the same platform and not getting attached to a particular community. With him slowly shifting focus towards politics, the next question is who will be the next Megastar.
There is a talk that the only star who can make that happen is none other than ‘Prince’ Mahesh Babu for the simple fact that though he is a Kamma, he has never shown such bias towards the community and did not brand himself as one. His appeal has been universal across all sections of audience starting from the mass to the family sections.
This was one curse for the Nandamuri clan which got labeled as an authentic ‘Kamma’ film family and did not work much in their favor. So, with Mahesh Babu’s appeal and his political backing considering his father and uncle’s association with the ruling Congress, it will be just about the next 15 years or so before Mahesh becomes the next ‘Megastar’. Mahesh Babu has no antipathy in public and majority people feel proud naming him as his/her favorite star. Chiranjeevi enjoyed such following for quite a long time. And now Mahesh is enjoying that.
